Application Rates:

The following are suggested minimum application rates.

Shrubs: Apply to soil surface at the rate of 1 cup of Cascade Minerals per 1 inch of trunk diameter. Allow minerals to settle overnight and water thoroughly the next day. You may also wish to lightly dust shrub leaves once a month. Best results are achieved in the Spring and Fall months.

Gardens: New gardens should have an application rate of 10 lbs. per hundred square feet (10’x10’.) Rake or lightly till Cascade Minerals into soil. Established gardens will need only about 1/2 the application rate of new gardens. You may also wish to broadcast Cascade Minerals during the growing season at least once per month.

Flowering Plants: Approximately 1 cup of Cascade Minerals, lightly rake into the soil around your plants. Spring and Fall months will produce the best results. Roses: Lightly dust foliage once per month during the blooming season.

Lawns: Apply Cascade Minerals at a rate of 50 to 100 lbs. per 2000 square feet of lawn. Minerals may be applied utilizing a lawn spreader or you may wish to apply by hand.

Composts: Cascade Minerals is added to your compost it will balance the pH, control odor and increase assimilation. Mix thoroughly approximately 2-3 cups per cubic foot. Add water as needed.

House Plants: 1-2 tsp per inch of pot diameter. Lightly stir into the top of the soil and water.

Foliar Spray: Dissolve Cascade Minerals into water by using the following method; Using a 1 gallon jar (glass works best if you can find them) fill jar 3/4 full, fill a nylon stocking with Cascade Minerals (about the size of a tennis ball) suspend the filled nylon in the gallon jar of water, top off jar to the desired level (just like making tea). Depending upon strength desired.
