Why is Maine Coast sea vegetable selling Chinese nori? We know you care about how your food is grown and handled. That's why you've been asking us for sushi nori for 25 years! For the past 5 years, we've been trying to grown it locally through an affiliated company in Maine. Meanwhile, one or the nori farmers here has personally inspected a Chinese nori farm in the Haibin region of Jainsu Province.

These sheets are slightly thinner than Japanese or Korean ones and may have tiny holes in some of them. Neither aspect will affect their functionality. Besides being excellent for traditional sushi, these sheets can be torn, cut or crumbled to season soups, salads, sandwiches, stir fries, pasta dishes, even baked goods. We trust you will enjoy their distinctive flavor, aroma and color and be happy to know where they came from.
